Professor Nick Bisley
Dean of Humanties & Social Science, La Trobe University
Nick’s research and teaching expertise is in Asia's international relations, great
power politics and Australian foreign and defence policy. Nick is the immediate
past President of the Australasian Council of Deans of Arts, Social Sciences and
Humanities and was elected as a Fellow of the Australian Institute of International
Affairs in 2020. He regularly contributes to and is quoted in national and
international media including The Guardian, The Economist, CNN and Time
Magazine.
